Australian Art Deco Hotels
SECONDS SALE : COPIES OF THE BOOK WITH MINOR DEFECT
I recently found a box of books I had initially rejected for sale due to slight defects. Mostly a minor blemish or scratch to one page per book, so it is very minor and doesn’t really detract from the overall book experience.
With so many people still asking for a copy after it has sold out I though I would offer these for sale at a discount rate.

Australian Art Deco Hotels is a beautiful coffee table book documenting the history and design of these iconic buildings.
Art Deco hotels, or pubs (short for public house), are a uniquely Australian interpretation and contribution to architecture of the Art Deco era. In the years between 1934 and 1942 hundreds of these streamline hotels were built right across Australia, from the big cities to outback towns. With over 320 stunning contemporary photographs and many archival images this visually rich book illustrates the best of these Art Deco treasures from across the continent accompanied with informative text celebrating this important chapter of Australia’s inter-war architecture.
If you love Art Deco and Streamline architecture or are just interested in pub culture and history, then you will love this book.
